It's been awhile (almost four months to be precise) since the first one of these articles under the "Design That Never Was" heading. Although the design itself was finished shortly after it. I do apologise. So without further ado, please welcome...

CSC Website Redesign
The Consortium for Street Children is the leading international network dedicated to realising the rights of street children worldwide. They support and compliment the work of their network members by focusing on four key strategic areas: Advocacy, Research, Shared Learning & Capacity Building.
Their principle objective is the relief of children living or working on the streets or other public spaces anywhere in the world in conditions of need, hardship or distress.
The Brief
The project objective was to create a new website for CSC that uses a creative and different approach to the current site, and to other sites within the sector using strong visuals and communicating complex issues.
The primary target audience is young people (students or young professional), government officials, small start-up NGOs supporting street children, consultants in the development sector, academics etc.
The aim of the redesign was to get the website visitors to know more about street children and the issues surrounding them, have their perceptions of street children challenged, sign up to find out more/stay engaged, become members or partners and to support financially amongst others.
Using the existing brand visual identity the task was to design a modern, bold, and attractive website with some clear calls to action, clear navigation, with a mobile responsiveness in mind.
The Design
Thanks for scrolling all the way down. Please do let me know your thoughts about the job done. The other design was chosen and the website is currently being built. I'll make sure to post a link to it in the comments below once it's live.
Some Credits
